Abstract: Using a new bioindicative method -Standorttypieindex- the bog Großes Darzer Moor was assessed. The autochthone spectrum of butterflies and moth, caddis flies and dragonflies was the basis of the assessment. Six stressed and unstressed sites were investigated. Important ecological deficits were observed in the terrestrial areas of the bog, in the aquatic/semiaquatic areas they were smaller.
